It took me two days to do a stage1 install, antoher two days to read howto's, man's, etc. and now Gentoo is up and running... and HOW?!
I'm emerging K3b at the moment, playing streaming audio with xmms, downloading with Valknut (dcgui-qt), Sylpheed is getting all my emails, I have Firefox running three times, using xfce 4.2.0 monitoring my cpu, memory, temperatures and swap and still everything is running unbelievable smoothly! 
This is almost too good to be true...
And the best part of it... I still have so much to install, fix and learn!
(ati radeon card, winfast tv-card, usb-scanner, usb-laserjet, usb-diskdrives, pda, bluetooth)
I can't wait to dive in to it...
