I look for help because I can't play any DVD disc in a Toshiba Notebook A10 S1001.

I download the soft “DISC Info version 1.6.1” and the results are:

I went too to “http://video.biosdriver.net/?curpage=14&squery=Dell Toshiba Firmware, Use DISCInfo to check the status of your drives”. and found

14 SD-R2412_1431.zip zip 156.1 KB 29-May-06 1431 for the SD-R2412 (FOR DRIVES WITH 14XX FIRMWARE ONLY!)

I download the following firmwares: R2412_1018, R2412-1031, R2412-1615, R2412-X431, made a bootable cd disc with them I try to flash a new firmware. All of them result in HEX FILE ERROR.

Coul'd someone help me with this?
