Hey,
I am looking for software online that I can download and use with my 2 video cameras connected to the computer to mix them as they are streaming into the computer. Also I would like to be able to set a fade in so that when i begin recording the camera will automatically fade in. The mixing I would like to have different options for transitions.
thanks,
Chase
hey, i just downloaded and installed waimea (i didnt emerge it), but i dont know how to get gnome2 to use it as a default window manager.
If i use gconf and set it there, it doesnt load it, if i run it while already in gnome2, it works, but sets the desktop as a managed window. It's supposed to be gnome2 compatible, so how do i get it to work right?

Hello all,
I made an AVI file from my Led Zeppelin DVD. I wanted to take screenshots from my avi file so I used Windows Movie Maker to do it with. The images are saved to jpeg and comes out perfectly. Unfortunately, I wanted to do multiple images (per frame) so this was becoming a lengthy process capturing frame by frame manually. I simply wanted a program that will automatically do it for the entire length of the video file.
I came here and downloaded “Image Grab” http://video.biosdriver.net/?id=8628&comp=Dell%20Computer%20Corp.&model=MSI%20RADEON%20X800%20PRO%206.14.10.6476 because it’s exactly what I was looking for.
Here’s the problem with Image Grab. It works beautifully, but all the images come out “slicy”, buggy lines that look like interference from a TV.
What can I do to change this? It’s pointless for me to use Image Grab if the images come out like that. Any other program out there saves quality images like WMM, but saves images automatically for every frame like Image Grab?
Thanks!
I encoded a divx file to SVCD with TMPGEnc it came out fine. When I went to burn it useing Nero it said:
You are using a beta version of the encoder. Due to patent license restrictions, the MPEG2 encoding/converting is not available.
I downloaded SVCD plugin for Nero from four different sources. I just kept hitting ok about ten times to get the cd writen. I wrote it and I put in my 12 bit Sony DVP-NS700 Progressive Scan Dvd player. I play VCD's in it all the time, but this was my first SVCD.
Would really appreciate your help!
Hello im at wits end here! I have used up probably around 100 printable cd's and just cant get it!
I know epson print cd has the inner and outer settings but it seems that it will only adjust the outer setting,When i print a cd the outer setting does change when i change it but the inner pretty much stays in the same spot!!!!!!!The inner line moves but the picture stays put!!!!!!I have tried using the import picture and background...neither will move the inner hub.
I have downloaded every surething software from 3.0 to 4. something,i went to the surething forum and told them about the inner hub setting and they said to chabge it to full bleed.Did that didnt help.
THERE HAS TO BE SOME PROGRAM THAT WILL ALLOW ME TO STRETCH THE IMAGE THAT I HAVE SAVE/SCANNED???????
I have been using the r200 for about 6 months now and what i have found if i scan a disc that the hub is exactly as the one im printing on it works out ok.
Please please help
Downloaded the beta version, haven't tried it out yet.....
On the download page..... noticed a healthy appetite for ram....
LightZone 3.3 Beta for Linux
System requirements: 1 GB RAM (2 GB recommended)
I use My Dvd, I have never messed with DVD burning before. I need help fitting some of the DVDs i have downloaded into a DVD+RW disk. The movie itself is only 700 MB or so, but when I add it to my project it ends up being about 6 GB which is way too much for a DVD+RW CD. Any help would be appreciated, Thank You!
First post here and hope this is the right place, and hope I will be making sense. I apologize in advance for my apparent ignorance.
I have a short film that was originally widescreen, but had been converted to fullscreen without cropping the sides when made into an AVI. Thus, the image is "squished" in from the sides. I downloaded the trial versions of Premiere Pro 1.5 and Encore 1.5, and think they have the capability, but I'm not sure how to do it. I also have a trial of TMPGEnc and Virtual Dub, if those would be better choices.
ALSO, if I did successfully convert this film, would there be black bars top and bottom if viewed on a widescreen TV/monitor? Thanks all,
Al
When emerge system gets tries to emerge sash-3.4-r5, I get the following error:
!!! sash-3.x-readline.diff.gz: message digests do not match!
!!! sash-3.x-readline.diff.gz is corrupt or incomplete.
>>> our recorded digest: 43cbfb670d42e6e15b58f3b528f75ca0

>>> Please delete /usr/portage/distfiles/sash-3.x-readline.diff.gz and refetch.
Needless to say I've done the last line several times, but it keeps giving me the same error. I assume the problem is that I'me installing Gentoo without a network connection by copying files to the comp on cd. Anyone know what I can do to fix the above problem? I've downloaded readline.diff from as many sources as I could, emerge rsynced this morning, and I really don't know what's wrong. Thanks for the help,

I've had it with rpm whateveryouwanttocallit.rpm that needs 5, 10, 12, you name it other files before it works and even when you get them sometimes it doesn't work.
Here's the deal, I want to use Linux but I don't have the means to connect to the net with a distro yet, and won't for probably a long while. I've discussed elsewhere why I can't right now and it's not worth going into so here's the thing:
I've tried several distros but all require me jumping on the net at some point on my winderz box to download additional files, which is FINE if it were simple. But my latest experience with mdk9.2 pissed me off to no end, hunting here and there for this rpm and that, oh can't find it on one mirror, time to go into mdk cooker and satisfy MORE dependencies!!!
So I tried Gentoo stage 3 install since I couldn't do a stage 1 or 2 install because THAT would require a net connection.. But I never managed to get my sblive configured with Gentoo, everything else was fine following the stage 3 install.. The problem came in when I wanted to get additional files and had to go online and the people I met in IRC regarding Gentoo just wanted to comment on how "that is a strange way of doing it" by manually downloading updates. Sure it may be odd, but that's the way I HAVE to do it right now..
So tell me, is there a simple way of using Gentoo and d/l'ing updates on a Winderz box and transferring the files over via CD-ROM? (I have the transfer of files part down I just need file links)
What URLs do I need to bookmark? Any special tips? I am more than pissed with my experiences with mdk9.2 and I'd like to switch back to Gentoo. But with my Linux box not being connected to the net it's been a real pain in the ass to find one distro that works well NOT connected to the net!
Thanks for reading, I appreciate any helpful replies.
